Usage Instructions

  • Enter titles other than the main title such as the title for a contents page or colophon.

Notes

  • If other titles are in multiple languages, repeat the element. 
  • There is no limit for the occurrence of each language code in ‘dcterms:alternative’ and it can be entered repeatedly.
  • For entering the main title in other languages, use ‘dc:title’ (Title).
  • The language information for Katakana Yomi is xml:lang="ja-Kana" and for Romaji Yomi, xml:lang="ja-Latn". Where a Yomi is entered, the information in xml:lang="ja" must be entered separately from the Yomi.
