Usage Instructions

  • Set True if the dataset is a collection of datasets with common characteristics.
  • Use 'relationType="inSeries"' of 'jpcoar:relation' (Relation) when linking to a dataset series from the item that belongs to the dataset series.
  • Use 'relationType="hasPart"' of 'jpcoar:relation' (Relation) when linking to the item that belongs to a dataset series from the dataset series.

Notes

  • A dataset means a collection of data, but a single piece of data found in a digital archive, etc., is considered a dataset here; thus, a dataset series can be used as representing the collection that has common characteristics.
