Usage Instructions

  • Enter the information that indicates the resource. In the case of data, describe the additional information that does not apply to other elements such as technical information.
  • Select and enter 'descriptionType' from the controlled vocabularies. In the case of an abstract of an academic paper, select 'Abstract'.

Notes

  • When you use ‘datacite:description’, you must specify ‘descriptionType’.
  • There is no limit for the occurrence of each language code in ‘datacite:description’ and it can be entered repeatedly.
