Usage Instructions

  • Enter this element when you register an ID in, for example, JaLC.
  • For ‘identifierType’, select and enter the registering service (in the case of a DOI, Registration Agency) from the controlled vocabularies.
  • For details, see a guideline about DOI registration (in Japanese only).

Notes

  • Enter the ID of the resource that is assigned and registered by a repository system in ‘jpcoar:identifier’ (Identifier).
  • If you select ‘JaLC’ or ‘Crossref’, it corresponds to ‘selfDOI’ in junii2 schema.
  • When you register a DOI in JaLC, enter the DOI in a HTTP URL formant in both ‘jpcoar:identifierRegistration’ and ‘jpcoar:identifier (Identifier)’ identifierType=“DOI”.
  • ‘jpcoar:identifierRegistration’ is only used for linking data with JaLC.
